Kahuku and Mililani squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Kahuku had to settle for second. They took a 57-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mililani Trojans. The Red Raiders' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Kahuku lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Mystique Akina-Watson, who went 6 of 13 en route to 14 points and seven rebounds. Ronin Naihe was another key player, going 8 for 15 on his way to 16 points and six boards.

Kahuku's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-9. As for Mililani, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Kahuku nor Mililani have any future games scheduled.
