Basketball Recap: River View Comes Up Short

River View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Mabton Vikings, falling 64-44. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 64-61 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

River View's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Mabton, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3.

River View and Mabton could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. River View (ranked 364th) will meet Tri-Cities Prep (ranked 40th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mabton will face off against Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday down 98 places (108 vs. 10).
