Troy and Burlingame squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Troy had to settle for second. They received a blow as they fell 79-60 to the Burlingame Bearcats. The Trojans' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Troy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Henry Geiger, who posted 16 points and eight boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Gannon Bowe, who shot 75% from the field to rack up 14 points.

Troy's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Burlingame, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3.

As of now, neither Troy nor Burlingame have any future games scheduled.
