Basketball Recap: Tri-Village Comes Up Short

After flying high against Dixie last Thursday, Tri-Village came back down to earth. The Tri-Village Patriots took a blow against the Bellbrook Golden Eagles on Tuesday, falling 57-24. The game marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

With the loss, Tri-Village broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-4. As for Bellbrook, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-2.

Tri-Village will be playing in front of their home fans against National Trail at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bellbrook, they will venture away from home to face off against Waynesville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Waynesville knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Bellbrook likes a good challenge.
