Volleyball Recap: Florence Falls to Trinidad in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Florence unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Trinidad Miners on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Huskies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Miners apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2019.

Florence took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-22.

Florence has already played their next match (against Thomas MacLaren School), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Trinidad, they will square off against Des Moines at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
