With a playoff win on the line, Galva rose to the challenge on Monday. They blew past the Wethersfield Flying Geese 63-39. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Blake Stahl was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 29 points and ten rebounds. The match was his fifth in a row with at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of JP Sloan, who went 5-for-11 en route to 13 points along with six assists and five boards.

Galva smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Galva is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.2 points over those games. Wethersfield is on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-22.

Galva wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 70-66 loss against Newman Central Catholic on the 26th. Wethersfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
