Linn had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over New Bloomfield. Linn has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw New Bloomfield, too.

Kylie Goans paced Linn's offense, picking up 11 kills. Goans got some help from Nicole Grellner and her 17 assists. Ali Russell controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.
