Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Lions vs. Carroll Academy Jaguars
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against University School of Jackson, the Trinity Christian Academy Lions were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 50-15 win over Carroll Academy. With Trinity Christian Academy ahead 31-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Trinity Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mallory Arnold, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds. Rylee Hidrogo was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Trinity Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-16. As for Carroll Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Trinity Christian Academy and the Rebels will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Tipton-Rosemark Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 16 points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Carroll Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Vikings at 1:00 p.m. on January 31st.
