Softball Recap: Hand Triumphs

The Hand Tigers beat the Wilton Warriors 5-1 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Bianca Pasquinelli was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Emily Dusza, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

The victory got Hand back to even at 6-6. As for Wilton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Hand didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-0 loss against Cheshire on the 7th. As for Wilton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-2 defeat against Ridgefield on the 7th.
