Baseball Recap: Enterprise's Loss Ends 12-Game Winning Streak at Home

If Enterprise was riding high fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Hurricane last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Enterprise Wolves lost 15-5 to the Virgin Valley Bulldogs on Thursday. The loss was the Wolves' first of the season.

Klint Bundy was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Parker Staheli, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Enterprise's defeat ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Virgin Valley, they pushed their record up to 1-1 with the victory, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Enterprise will head out to square off against San Juan at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Virgin Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mountain View at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.
