Excel Christian Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 21-25, 26-24, 25-16, 15-8.
Despite the loss, Still Creek Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kenzlely Clapp had five digs and four aces.
