Football Recap: Cold Spring Harbor Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Cold Spring Harbor played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Plainedge Red Devils and fell 43-8. While losing is never fun, the Seahawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 192nd, while the Red Devils are ranked 34th).

Plainedge can attribute much of their success to Taylor Nitsch, who picked up 60 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Cold Spring Harbor now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Plainedge, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Cold Spring Harbor and Plainedge will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Seahawks see the field they'll take on North Shore on October 4. As for Plainedge, their break will end when they face Lynbrook on October 4.
