Soccer Recap: Upper St. Clair Comes Up Short

Upper St. Clair was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Canon-McMillan Big Macs. While losing is never fun, Upper St. Clair can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 288th, while Canon-McMillan are ranked 27th).

Upper St. Clair's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Canon-McMillan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Coming up, Upper St. Clair will challenge South Fayette at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Canon-McMillan, they have already played their next match, a 6-1 win against Trinity on the 20th.
