Basketball Recap: Drummond Victorious

Drummond won the last time they faced South Shore and things went their way on Monday too. The Drummond Lumberjacks walked away with a 53-44 win over the South Shore Cardinals.

Drummond now has a winning record of 6-5. As for South Shore, they dropped their record down to 3-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Drummond will head out to square off against Washburn at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Washburn knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Drummond likes a good challenge. As for South Shore, they will face off against Hurley at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Hurley will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something South Shore surely won't give up without a fight.
