Recap: Fort Bend Christian Academy Eagles vs. St. John XXIII Lions

After losing to the St. John XXIII Lions the last time they met, the Fort Bend Christian Academy Eagles decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Fort Bend Christian Academy came out on top against St. John XXIII by a score of 45-35 on Thursday.

Fort Bend Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ella Olson, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Lizzie Hamilton, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and two steals.

Fort Bend Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for St. John XXIII, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Bend Christian Academy will challenge The Woodlands Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Woodlands Christian Academy is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for St. John XXIII, they will head out on the road to square off against Kelly Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Kelly Catholic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 last Tuesday.
