Volleyball Recap: Academy of Our Lady of Peace Has No Trouble Against Royal + How To Watch

With a playoff win on the line, Academy of Our Lady of Peace rose to the challenge on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Royal Highlanders. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pilots.

Academy of Our Lady of Peace never let Royal on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-11, 25-22.

Amanda Guzman was nothing short of spectacular: she had 29 digs and three aces. What's more, she posted two assists, the most she's had since back in October. Dylan Wilson also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Academy of Our Lady of Peace was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. They are 11-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Academy of Our Lady of Peace's win bumped their record up to 19-11. As for Royal, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-12.

As of now, neither Academy of Our Lady of Peace nor the Highlanders have any future games scheduled.
