Softball Recap: Marcellus Comes Up Short

Marcellus fell victim to Cassopolis and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Rangers, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 22 runs in the game before, the Wildcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Marcellus dropped their record down to 6-12 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Cassopolis, they moved to 6-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

While Marcellus had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
