It was a good run, but Classical unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 3-0 to the Cranston East Thunderbolts. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Purple of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Classical's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Cranston East, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Classical is set to face off against their familiar foe Chariho at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cranston East will take on rival Barrington at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
