Basketball Recap: Glenn Hills Comes Up Short

Glenn Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 39th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Butler Bulldogs, falling 68-23. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 457th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 115th).

Glenn Hills' loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Butler, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-8.

Glenn Hills has already played their next game (against Josey), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Butler will take on Laney at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Butler knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Laney likes a good challenge.
