Soccer Recap: Fullerton Comes Up Short

Fullerton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Godinez Fundamental Grizzlies. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Indians couldn't quite close it out.

Fullerton's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Godinez Fundamental, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fullerton will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Valencia at 6:15 p.m. on January 22nd. As for Godinez Fundamental, they will head out to take on Santa Ana at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
