Basketball Recap: Waterloo Comes Up Short

Waterloo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 94-21 loss at the hands of the Deerfield Demons. The Pirates were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Demons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Waterloo's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Deerfield, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Waterloo will be home for the holidays to greet Lodi at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Deerfield, they are taking a road trip to challenge Williams Bay at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
