Basketball Recap: North Warren Central Comes Up Short

North Warren Central's tournament run continued when they took on Yorktown on Sunday. The North Warren Central Cougars fell 68-56 to the Yorktown Huskers. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Warren Central's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Yorktown, their victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Warren Central will venture away from home to challenge Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Yorktown, they will head out to take on Arlington at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
