Soccer Game Recap: Delaware Valley Classical vs. Concord Christian Academy

After low-scoring totals in their previous three game, Delaware Valley Classical brought some dynamite into their most recent match. Their defense stepped up to hand the Concord Christian Academy Minutemen an 8-0 shutout on Tuesday. Mason Jones was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Delaware Valley Classical's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2-1 and their overall record up to 2-4-2. As for Concord Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4-1.

Coming up, Delaware Valley Classical will head out on the road to take on Avon Grove Charter at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Concord Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Greenwood Mennonite at 3:30 p.m. on October 2.
