Basketball Recap: Irving Takes a Loss

Irving was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Lake Highlands Wildcats, falling 76-41. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 771st, while the Wildcats are ranked 45th).

Irving's defeat dropped their record down to 11-19. As for Lake Highlands, they pushed their record up to 25-7 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Irving has already played their next match (against Dallas Jesuit), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lake Highlands will head out to take on Pearce at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
