Basketball Recap: Deer Creek-Lamont Takes a Loss

Deer Creek-Lamont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They fell 38-26 to the Burlington Elks. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 34-29 last Saturday.

Deer Creek-Lamont's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Burlington, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-13.

While Deer Creek-Lamont had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
