Basketball Recap: Sussex Central Falls Short Against Ranked Dover

On Wednesday, Sussex Central faced Dover in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Sussex Central Golden Knights took a 52-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dover Senators. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Senators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-36 back in January.

Sussex Central's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Dover, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-2.

As of now, neither Sussex Central nor Dover have any future games scheduled.
