Volleyball Game Preview: Bingham Miners vs. Riverton Silverwolves

The Bingham Miners will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Riverton Silverwolves at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bingham will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Bingham will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Olympus, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. Bingham put the hurt on Olympus with a sharp 3-0 victory on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Riverton didn't have quite enough to beat Corner Canyon on Thursday and fell 3-2. The Silverwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Riverton wouldn't go down easily and took Corner Canyon into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-15, 20-25, 21-25, 15-12.

Bingham's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Riverton, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Bingham came out on top in a nail-biter against Riverton when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will Bingham repeat their success, or does Riverton has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
