Volleyball Game Preview: Shawsheen Valley Tech Rams vs. Mystic Valley Regional Eagles

The Shawsheen Valley Tech Rams will head out to challenge the Mystic Valley Regional Eagles at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Shawsheen Valley Tech earned a 3-1 win over Innovation Academy. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Red Tailed Hawk: they've now won five in a row.

Mystic Valley Regional hadn't beaten Whittier RVT on the road since September 29, 2021 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Eagles blew past the Wildcats 3-0.

Shawsheen Valley Tech's record now sits at 6-3. As for Mystic Valley Regional, their record is now 5-2.

Shawsheen Valley Tech took their win against Mystic Valley Regional when the teams last played last Thursday by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
