Volleyball Recap: ALA - Mesa North Takes a Loss + How To Watch

ALA - Mesa North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Phoenix Christian Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

ALA - Mesa North's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Phoenix Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. ALA - Mesa North will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Rancho Solano Prep at 6:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Phoenix Christian, after both having extra time off, they and St. John Paul II Catholic will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
