Volleyball Game Preview: Draper APA Eagles vs. Intermountain Christian Lions

The Draper APA Eagles will challenge the Intermountain Christian Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Draper APA will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Tuesday. Draper APA was the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over American Leadership Academy.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Draper APA took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-10, 25-7.

Meanwhile, Intermountain Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Maeser Prep Academy by a score of 3-2.

Intermountain Christian took Maeser Prep Academy into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-15, 25-21, 23-25, 15-10.

Intermountain Christian's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Draper APA, their victory bumped their record up to 22-3.

Draper APA took their win against Intermountain Christian in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
