Football Recap: Sasakwa Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Sasakwa's offense. They were beaten by the Caddo Bruins 55-0 on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 46 points in the game before, the Vikings' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Sasakwa didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Darius Henderson.

Caddo found their leader in sophomore Bayler Black, who rushed for 201 yards and four TDs on only 12 carries. Cale Wigington was another key player, rushing for 82 yards and a pair of scores on only nine carries.

Sasakwa's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Caddo, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Sasakwa has already played their next contest, a 56-26 victory against Life Christian on the 19th. As for Caddo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 49-34 win against Waurika on the 19th.
