Volleyball Recap: Kewaskum Wins Going Away Against Sheboygan South

Kewaskum had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the Sheboygan South Redwings on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Indians this season.

Kewaskum found their leader in sophomore Ruth Sadownikow, who had 16 digs and three aces. Those 16 digs set a new season-high mark for Sadownikow. Katelynn Nielson also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.

Kewaskum's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Sheboygan South, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Kewaskum didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against West Bend West on the 9th. As for Sheboygan South, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Plymouth on the 9th.
