Basketball Game Preview: East Mountain Timberwolves vs. Bosque Bobcats

East Mountain is 2-8 against Bosque since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The East Mountain Timberwolves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bosque Bobcats at 5:30 p.m. Bosque took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on East Mountain, who comes in off a win.

On Saturday, East Mountain took their match with ease, bagging a 54-13 victory over Santa Fe Prep. That looming 54-13 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Timberwolves yet this season.

Meanwhile, Bosque played a tough contest last Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 74-22 defeat at the hands of Tucumcari. The game marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Bosque dropped their record down to 2-10 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for East Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 4-11.

East Mountain came up short against Bosque in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 46-41. Can East Mountain avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
