Volleyball Recap: St. Vincent's Saints vs. North Cobb Christian Eagles
St. Vincent extended their postseason success on Saturday against North Cobb Christian. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Saints.
St. Vincent's was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-15, 25-27, 26-24.
Briana Tuten paced St. Vincent's offense, picking up 14 kills. Tuten got some help from Ella Woelber and her 27 assists. Woelber was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.
Despite the loss, North Cobb Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ryan Chesser had 19 digs and two assists. Chesser has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.
