West Salem had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They came out on top against the Waseca Bluejays by a score of 2-0.

Josie Brudos paced West Salem's offense, picking up six kills. Brudos got some help from Addie Jehn and her 12 assists. Brudos also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Natalee Reichert, each putting up four.

West Salem's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Waseca, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

West Salem didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against New Ulm on the 20th. As for Waseca, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Albert Lea on the 20th.
