Basketball Game Preview: Franklinton Red Rams vs. Northern Nash Knights

Franklinton hasn't had much luck against Northern Nash recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Franklinton Red Rams will challenge the Northern Nash Knights at 7:30 p.m.

Franklinton is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They had to suffer through a 83-35 loss at the hands of Northern Nash. While losing is never fun, the Red Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 362nd, while the Knights are ranked 78th).

Franklinton better focus on containing Kingston Little and CJ Rosser Jr. as the pair were huge in Northern Nash's win. Little went 7 for 10 en route to 16 points and six boards, while Rosser Jr. went 5 of 11 on his way to 16 points. Rosser Jr.'s evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Kamren Freeman was another key player, putting up eight points and ten rebounds.

The win was the eighth in a row for Northern Nash, bringing their record for this year to 14-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.4 points. As for Franklinton, their loss dropped their record down to 9-12.
