Recap: St. Francis Red Raiders vs. The Park School of Buffalo Pioneers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Canisius, the St. Francis Red Raiders were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They walked away with a 60-48 win over The Park School of Buffalo. That result was just more of the same for these two, as St. Francis also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Among those leading the charge was Sal Giardina, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Henry Bickerstaff was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with ten rebounds and two blocks.
St. Francis' victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for The Park School of Buffalo, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.
St. Francis will head out on the road to face off against Bishop Timon-St. Jude at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Bishop Timon-St. Jude's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for The Park School of Buffalo, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Canisius at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Canisius will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
