Lowell proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Mercy Bears 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Cardinals, who have now won five contests in a row.

Lowell's record is now 7-4. As for Mercy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.
