Basketball Game Preview: Bridgeport Mustangs vs. Oroville Hornets

The Bridgeport Mustangs will head out to challenge the Oroville Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Bridgeport's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

While Bridgeport didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They claimed a resounding 76-27 win over Wilson Creek. Fans of the Mustangs have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Meanwhile, Oroville came up short against Waterville on Saturday and fell 47-36. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bridgeport pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38 points. As for Oroville, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Bridgeport strolled past Oroville in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 67-49. Does Bridgeport have another victory up their sleeve, or will Oroville turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
