Volleyball Game Preview: Genoa-Kingston Cogs vs. St. Edward Green Wave + How To Watch

The Genoa-Kingston Cogs will face off against the St. Edward Green Wave at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Genoa-Kingston's favor as the squad sits on six straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while St. Edward has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

On Tuesday, Genoa-Kingston earned a 2-0 win over Winnebago.

Meanwhile, St. Edward didn't have quite enough to beat Hinckley-Big Rock on Thursday and fell 2-1. While the Green Wave didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Royals 25-19 in the first set.

St. Edward started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-22, 15-10.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 14-9. As for St. Edward, their loss dropped their record down to 5-16.

Genoa-Kingston beat St. Edward 2-0 when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Do the Cogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Green Wave turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
