The Chowchilla Tribe will head out to square off against the Caruthers Blue Raiders at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chowchilla is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

Chowchilla is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Hollister just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 8-2 to the Haybalers. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Tribe couldn't push the score so high this time.

Chowchilla saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brianna Guardado, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Caruthers got the win against Madera South on Tuesday by a conclusive 18-7. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Raiders.

The win got Caruthers back to even at 7-7. As for Chowchilla, the loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 9-8.

Chowchilla came out on top in a nail-biter against Caruthers in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 9-8. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tribe since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
