Volleyball Recap: Mount Horeb Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Mount Horeb had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Monona Grove Silver Eagles by a score of 2-0. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Silver Eagles, too.

Mount Horeb easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-9.

Mount Horeb's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Monona Grove, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 11-9 record.

Mount Horeb wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against New Glarus on the 20th. Hopefully Monona Grove paid attention to the Vikings' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Vikings at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
