Bordentown came tearing into Friday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Riverside Rams 47-8. This was payback for the Scotties, who suffered a 36-14 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Thomas Lee had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 146 yards and one score on only nine carries, and also threw for 87 yards and a pair of TDs. Jose Santiago was another key player, gaining 98 total yards.

Bordentown didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Riverside to a completion percentage of just 37.5%. The Scotties weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 54.5%.

Bordentown's record now sits at 6-1. As for Riverside, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bordentown will challenge Florence Township Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Scotties will be up against the Flashes' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.71 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Riverside, they will head out on the road to take on Pemberton at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Rams are facing the Hornets at the right time seeing as the Hornets are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
