It was a good run, but Lemmon unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ipswich Tigers. The Cowboys were not able to make up for their loss to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Lemmon was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Ipswich work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 27-25.

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 7-2. As for Ipswich, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.

Coming up, Lemmon will host Philip at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ipswich, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Milbank on the 20th.
