Volleyball Recap: Palmyra Takes a Loss

Palmyra lost against Syracuse back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Rockets. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Grace Green paced Palmyra's offense, picking up eight kills. Green got some help from Audrey Erhart and her 19 assists. Erhart was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Among those leading the charge was Kelsay Engelbrecht, who had nine digs and three aces.

Palmyra's loss dropped their record down to 7-20. As for Syracuse, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-14 record this season.

Palmyra does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Syracuse, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Bishop Neumann on the 28th.
