Prairiland entered their tilt with Sulphur Springs on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Sulphur Springs Wildcats 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Patriots also won the last time the pair played back in August.

Prairiland was generally in control, but really had to dig deep in the third set to get the win. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-20, 28-26.

Despite the loss, Sulphur Springs still got an impressive performance from Tessa Allen, who had 14 digs and two aces. Allen is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season.

After both having extra time off, Prairiland and North Lamar will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sulphur Springs, they will welcome North Hopkins at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Sulphur Springs is on a three-game streak of home wins, North Hopkins a nine-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
