Baseball Recap: Gallatin County Takes a Loss

Gallatin County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pope County Pirates. The Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Gallatin County's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Pope County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Gallatin County will take on rival Hardin County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pope County is set to challenge their familiar foe Crab Orchard at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
