Basketball Recap: Polytech Comes Up Short

Polytech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. The match between them and the Sussex Central Golden Knights didn't end well, with the Polytech Panthers falling 61-45. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-58 last Tuesday.

Polytech's loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Sussex Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

While Polytech had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
