Basketball Recap: Grundy Comes Up Short

Grundy was the 55-54 winner over Virginia High when they last played one another back in February of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Grundy Golden Wave took a 45-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Virginia High Bearcats.

Grundy's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Virginia High, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-10.

Grundy will square off against Twin Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Virginia High, they will face off against John Battle at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
