Basketball Game Preview: Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights vs. Lyle/Pacelli Athletics

The Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights will venture away from home to square off against the Lyle/Pacelli Athletics at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Tuesday, Kenyon-Wanamingo took a blow against Triton, falling 87-47.

Meanwhile, Lyle/Pacelli came into Tuesday's match having lost 14 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged Spring Grove out 54-51.

Kenyon-Wanamingo has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-5 record this season. As for Lyle/Pacelli, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-13.

Kenyon-Wanamingo strolled past Lyle/Pacelli when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 63-49. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kenyon-Wanamingo since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
